[Yaesu] FT1000D 10 & 12m RX buzz

My FT1000D has developed a receiver buzz at turn on most noticeable on 10m
and but less so on 12m. Sounds like some kind of spurious product. No
symptoms on any other bands. A firm smack with the palm of the hand on the
left side  front usually makes it go away. Sometimes its just diminished
and a second wrap cures it. Sounds like there is a oxidized contact
somewhere.

Anyone have a similar experience? Cure?
