I'm wiring up a DIN plug to connect a FT-990 to an AL80A (a full QSK linear). Ive connected the neutral and hot pins. However, IIRC, the manual states that you connect Pin 3 and pin 8 with a jumper. The diagram appears to show pin 8 to pin 5.
