Hello All,

Maybe someone has a clue or suggestion where to look
For this very strange problem, I'm trying to repair
a FT1000mp from a friend.

When you switch the radio on @ 10/50 deg C/F environment temp
VFO A starts to scan down (every time) for +/- 10 min and is realy
Changing the frequency not only the display.
VFO B remains on the last setting , so this one is ok

When going in XMIT the display doesn't change anymore
And is on the displayed frequency transmitting.
When stopping XMIT he scans down again until that certain time.

When environment temp is 20/68 deg C/F the problem stops after 2 min
When environment temp is 25/77 deg C/F the problem stops after 10 to 15 sec

It is a temp related problem for sure but very strange that it's only for
VFO A and also not when in TX.

BTW leaving the radio on day/night solves this problem but
that's not what my friend want.
