[Yaesu] FT-1000/1000D question

 I have an FT-1000D and have finally decided that the main tuning rate is a bit 
fast for my desires.  I recall that Int'l Radio (I think) once sold a kit to 
slow the beast down.  Is someone else marketing such a mod today?
