[Yaesu] FT1000D Problem

Bought this unit new several years ago and have had no problems until this 
morning. When I turned the unit on, I was getting a high pitch sound coming 
from the Moni Control. I can turn it down but unable to monitor the CW. It is a 
problem on all the bands. Otherwise the FT K works fine. Nothing in the 
archives.

Anyone have experince with this problem ?
