I am assisting a friend with an abused FT-1000D. The symptom is that
memories are lost when power cycling the rig. The CR-2032 battery has been
replaced and I've verified battery voltage all the way to the RAM chip on
the Control Board. I have a new RAM chip ready to install, but when
accessing the Control Board, I noticed a hanging wire from an International
Radio tuning upgrade kit. I installed these 20-25 years ago but have zero
recollection about them. To move forward, I need a copy of the instructions
from International Radio. This is NOT the same as INRAD.
Yes, I searched all over the web and today, Google is not my friend. A
long-shot I know but can anyone here scan a copy? Tnx!
