A friend came by today with his FT-736R for me to look being I also have
a 736. The rig has very low speaker audio while in either CW, LSB, or
USB. This happens on all bands 6, 2, and 70cm.
When switching back to FM the audio from the speaker is strong like it
should be. We get the same results while using headphones.
Encode/Decode is not being used.
It appears the receiver is working because we can see the signal on the
S meter but nothing heard through speaker. Any ideas or suggestions??
