At what frequencies John?

I am in the 20-60GHz range at work and am totally amazed at the devices
that are available for very little money. Altho not QRO, we produce
+20dBm at 40GHz  with over the counter parts.....that is across all
300-400+ channels.  I can still remember running that power level in the
60's with converted WW2 surplus at 70cm!
