Paul-

Sorry you're taking this so personally, Paul.

My psotings were in repsonse to what I saw as unjustified "sales hype".
My comments were not maid out of animus or a desire to damage Mr. Henry's
business. While I believe that, over all, Henry builds a decent product, I
do not believe ithat it is accurate to state that Henry amps are the "most
rugged or reliable" amps available...let alone venture into wholly
unsupportable claims that Henry amps enjoy greater efficiency, etc., than
other, comparable amplifiers sold to the amateur market.

Moreover, my comments were based on long years of experience of owning and
working on (many) Henry amps. I still own 2 Henry amps (a 4K-Ultra and a
2002, by the way). For what its worth, I prefer my homebrew amps....

I too have great respect for true sales professionals. My experience has
been that a true professional in the sales game has a high regard for
accuracy and respects the intelligence of his customers.

Finally, and for the record, I have been self employed for many
years...although admittedly not in an industry that caters to amateurs.

Fraternally,

Alan, W3BV
