I'm not sure.
Is this the Penta Labs that glues the caps on the 3-500Z's because
the set screws fall out....and that sold the 3-500Z's whose glass
sucked in from normal operation?
The Penta who's head spent weekends in jail for mislabeling
products? The one GE went after? The one who caused Eimac to
stamp their logos on tubes and grind up duds so the tubes wouldn't
be re-labeled and sold as new? The Penta Labs who was re-
labeling used or scrapped 8877's as new?
Is this the Penta that stuck Ameritron for several thousand dollars
in refunds for mislabeled products? The one who, when I sent back
3-500Z's that had the caps falling off, used rubber cement to glue
the caps back on and returned them???
Or is this some other Penta than the one I'm aware of?
I know of at least two Penta Labs over the years, and there is
nothing to say there might not be more or that the name might not
have changed hands. Many years ago, it was a respected
company. Maybe it is still, and there are two of them out there.
I'd check carefully.
