>Hi,
> I purchased an old military 1000 watt dummy load at a hamfest today. It

>If you know of another source, please let me know who it is.
> I know nothing about oil and heat transfer, so could someone explain why

>of the dummy load or should there be a little room for expansion?
// I use Mobil-1 five-wt. synthetic oil in my Bird dummy load. In that
model, the oil lever should be just up to the filler hole with the load
in the normal config.
cheers, Ken
