Way back when ? The first police bands, Were in the 50 MHz region. Ever
notice that long whip on Andy G of Mayberry police car. Anyway skip would
come in, All kind of noise. Some bright kid come up with the 10 codes, so
10-4 was born to help get thru when everything was bad. But now since they
have very good radio systems.No skip. they run the 10 codes to death. when
plain talk would do just fine.
