Very interesting, Steve. I sure would like to see the results when doing the
same test but with a multi-band antenna like an 80/40 meter "fan doublet".

1929 Hartley osc., 204A - output 35 RF watts at 3.872
Spectrum Analyzer, Anaritsu
Probe 5 inches from RF tank:
3.872 -14 dB
7.742 -14 dB
15.485 - 27 dB
30.9 - 48 dB
Under 80 meter dipole center at 30 feet:
3.872 -20 dB
7.7 - 50 dB
At receiving station 1 mile away: no harmonics to be found.
