Ah, shades of threads gone by...
For those new to the reflector, it was my innocent question about six
or seven years ago which triggered the "grate parasitics debate"
which ran continuously for about a year and a half on this reflector,
surely one of the longest continuous threads of all time.
And now it begins again, apparently.
Sigh.
