Bob, I have used a DEM transverter with my Orion I to drive a Mirage
1016G Brick by itself. By reducing the drive to the brick, I have also
driven a Command 6M amp to about 800W out. The transverter alone drives
it to 600W.
But the guys are right that when the band opens, 5W and a dipole is all
that you need.
