| WA2TAK asked: >Is there any easy way to test one/several for vacuum??...< A HiPot tester is the usual way. You do need to make sure the outer is clean and dry first, with no finger grease. If it's a glass one, then any current limited HV supply will do - they glow a beautiful colour! Now, does anyone know where I can get a new vacuum put in one? I have a 500pF 15kV 40 amp one that needs a new vacuum.... 73 Peter G3RZP _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
