I have a HV power supply that sits at 4950v no load. I am thinking of dropping the HV primary by using a 15.8v 24a transformer as a buck -boost device by putting the secondary in series with the HV transformer primary. Can anyone see a problem with this approach instead of a variac ? _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
