Interesting that my Alpha literature says that I should run my Alphas on HIGH
POWER (high voltage) all the time, I forgot why.
Also it says that it is better to leave the amp on (on standby) than turn it
off and on frequently. Don't know what "frequently" means but certainly tubes
should be cycled off and on as little as possible. Transistors, apparently,
don't care.
