The Europeans regularly get 3KW out of a pair so one should do the legal 
US limit although a pair would not be working them so hard and would 
still be within the actual ratings.  Don comes up with a nominal/PEP? of 
900 so a pair would easily get 1800 in gg without undue stress.  How 
much drive it'd take, I don't know.
