'It's a switchmode power supply with "universal input," and will become more efficient at higher line voltages...'WB2WIK If that's the case Steve, I would only be concerned if the amp's firmware reported a fault due to high line voltage and perhaps causes the amp to trip-out. Because of filament voltage, I'm much more concerned about line voltage with my tube amps and really have no concern when using my SPE. Line voltage here typically runs 252-255VAC.
