Hi AllI was reading an article in an older QST about doing a conversion on a SB-200. One of the things they did was take the tuned input out and put in a 4:1 toroid on the input, as the input impedance of the 572B's is around 200 ohms. The article said the SWR was around 1.5:1 with this setup. Is this a good thing to do? Sure would save a lot of fiddling around tuning the input. 73 Tom W7WHY _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
