Gents:
If you have not seen it, take a gander at Ebay auction 111752458770 .
boasts a 3CX1200A7 alleged to have been rebuilt by Econco in Ca.
The seller has erroneously listed it as a 12000A7
I had always understood that anything smaller than say 5KW pd was not
economical to rebuild.
I find this interesting,since as far as I know the 1200A7 can still be had
brand new (albeit for north of $1k).
If one needed a back up 1200A7, the $500 price for this "new one" seems
attractive. I already have a spare for my
3K Mark II console though, so it would be overkill here.
Thoughts?
