aww, the SB200 is a grand old lady of ham radio - I wouldn't hack it around.. Your requirements are quite straight forward - why not put a GS-35B in a nice steel grey-painted box with some metering off a 1950's russian nuclear reactor. Your auto antenna tuner will take care of the input circuit, and It'll be a joy to use for years and years!
