That's exactly what scott did...and also myself.

In his case, he applied exactly 10 vac from the variac to the paralleled
primary's..... with secondaries temp disconnected from each other..... and
both  connected to nothing.

With normal 240 vac applied, sec is 5300 vac. That's a 5300 / 240 = 22.083
turns ratio.

With 10 vac applied,  xfmr  #1 has  220.83 vac.  Xfmr  # 2 has  221.6 vac
     That's dick. 5300  vs 5318.4     Gimme a break.
