One of two series connected 120uF@2KV oil filled capacitors
blew up (spectacularly) after a couple of years service In my
#2 amplifier. I got them from Fair Radio Sales.
My #1 amp has a 50uF @ 5KV oil capacitor I new for $85
in 1987 from Peter Dahl Company.
Seemed like a good idea to buy another for the other amp...
but they want $200 for a new one now. Any suggestions?
(both amps are homebrew)
Thanks, Wayne, W5XD
