Did you try re-initializing the Microprocessor? You press the A=B switch
while turning on the power.

Subject: Beverages on a hill?

I have done some research on Beverage antennas in both ON4UN's book and on
the net. I have noted that beverages should be kept horizontal over dips,
but I have not see anything on having the entire Beverage slope downward,
such as when erecting a beverage on a hill. Any comments? Anybody done
any modeling? PLEASE reply directly and I will summarize for the refector.

I too, had a similar experience.
Today, however, the trend is for this sort of personal interest to develop
on the Internet, (interactive games) or with text in chat rooms or news
groups. If we believe Larry Ellison, this will soon include the cable TV
network. These are the places to look for new blood.
A new trend is developing for single purpose wireless devices which link
into the others.
Can we make use of the new media to get young people into ham radio and
contesting?
How about a user friendly game, distributed on the 'net, with hyperlinks to
followup materials like ham radio web pages, etc.?
