Thanks Mike and all those who responded. The original Paragon uses that funky Ten Tec protocol that no one else used. The Paragon II (the one I *don't* have) is the one that uses the Icom protocol like the Omni-6 (in fact, the PII is very similar to the Omni-6, minus DSP and adding general coverage rcvr).
