Those using elevated radials, do you think it hurts to ground them to a ground rod at the base of the antenna? I have an inverted L ( 1/4 wave ) with 4 radials about 4 ft off the ground, grounding mine cleans up the swr and makes it flat for about 50kc, without about 15kc. Seems I remember reading they should be independent of a true ground? TIA nz |
