[CQ-Contest] IARU HF World Championship: the personality of a contest

Being somewhat new to contesting, I'd appreciate your take on what this 
contest is like.

For instance, I notice there are no operator classes for power - does that 
mean this contest is dominated by the "big boys"?  ...you guessed it, I only 
have 100W :)

Any other comments on the general flavor of this contest?
