The Kentucky QSO Party is this weekend. It occurs to me that there hasn't
been any promotion of this event (that I'm aware of), other than the
listing in QST. So this is simply a plea to try to get some folks on the
air.
I am not generally a fan of contests such as this that have traditionally
had minimal participation (and that's putting it nicely). But then if
everyone avoided every contest because of poor participation, well, I
guess that would soon become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The alternative
is to encourage greater activity, which is the reason for this e-mail.
