I'd suggest some nutty alternatives;
1. Invite a W2 ham to hang around for the weekend, or;
2. Secure a US license,but with only 3 days to go, you won't have time to
get a US call, my experience that took around 8 to 10 days.
3. Get a cheap flight to PR.
