I have to agree with Mal's comment on simple stations being effective and fun in contests. In my continued attempts to get something going with SO2R on fairly small lot/single tower, I put up a vertical dipole for 20. Kind of figured it'd be used primarily to answer the louder stations in the S/P mode, but I was pleasantly surprised at the number of answers to my CQs during NAQP CW.
