My first alphabet learned as a Navy Radioman in the 1930s seems to be a permanent recording; it has repeatedly given me trouble in adopting later versions. ABLE(AFIRM) BAKER CHARLIE DOG EASY FOX GEORGE HOW ITEM(INT) JIG KING LOVE MIKE NAN(NEGAT) OBOE(OPTION) PETER(PREP) QUEEN ROGER SUGAR TARE UNCLE VICTOR WILLIAM XRAY YOKE ZEBRA - Words in parenthesis had specific Navy use. 73 jim w3cp _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
