This concept leaves me scratching my head! I must be missing something. To me, 
whether your score is manually calculated or the result is automated through a 
consistent algorithm, the final determination rests with the contest sponsor, 
not the participants. You don't see Olympians challenging the scoring 
methodology in a timed event (downhill, bobsled, speed skating, etc.).
