I think it was N6NB who had an article in a magazine who found that using a big antenna with 100 watts beat or equalled a lower antenna and a KW. I recall N6TR visiting Pat, W5WMU's super station and running away with QRP in the ARRL SS. What I question are the stations who claim QRP on 160 (W8JI and VY2ZM excepted) and actually have long runs.
