Because ARRL Sweepstakes Phone is going on this weekend. It is mainly a
USA-Canada contest. It is one of the MAJOR contests for U.S. residents
each year. There is always a major competition between U.S. clubs for "the
Gavel" awarded each year by ARRL at Dayton.
