[CQ-Contest] Malformed messages

I must apologize for wasting the group's time on this - it turned out that 
my e-mail program was not properly handling a newer type of encoding that 
AOL now uses.  The weird characters I reported are codes for fancy 
punctuation, such as open and close quotes that are different 
characters.  Happily, I was able to find a plug-in that handles it, so I'm 
hoping that most of this will go away now.
