As the primary CW operator on this team, I have set a goal of 1000 CW qso's.
Please look us up and help us obtain that goal. Thanks, and we'll catch you on
the bands--Scott, KA3QLF
The KQX Group is has been named the Bonus Station for the 2009 PA QSO
Party. We will run an "old school" Multi-Multi from Wyoming County (WYO)
using the call sign N3KAE. Our group has submitted the highest scores for
the past two PQP's (2008 and 2007). We intend to give plenty of
opportunities for you to add bonus points to your score this year.
Our focus will be HF CW and SSB 160m to 20m due to the lack of solar
activity. We will be on 15m and 10m CW and SSB for, at least, both
high-band activity periods. We hope to devote more time on these
band-modes.
RTTY and PSK is planned for 80m-20m. 20m RTTY/PSK 1800z-1959z Saturday and
Sunday (14.090 -/+ RTTY). 80m RTTY/PSK 2300z-2359z Saturday ONLY (3.590 -/+
RTTY). 40m RTTY/PSK 2000z-2059z Sunday ONLY (7.090 -/+ RTTY). PSK will
utilize the standard band frequencies. RTTY starts the top of each hour and
PSK follows at the bottom of each hour.
6m SSB/CW and 2m FM stations will run throughout the contest. We will CQ
and monitor 50.135 SSB and change to CW on that frequency. The 2m station
will CQ and monitor 146.55 FM.
Further updates may follow,
