Jim and NCCC:
Here's propagation information for WRTC 2010. Bob, N6TV, and I worked
together on generating these predictions. Note that there are four sets of
predictions:
1. For a VERY LOW level of solar activity and 100 W power level and with
WRTC antennas
2. For a VERY LOW level of solar activity and 1500 W power level and big
antennas (this is what the WRTC competitors will hear)
3. For a LOW level of solar activity and 100 W power level and with WRTC
antennas.
4. For a LOW level of solar activity and 1500 W power level and big antennas
(again, what the WRTC competitors will hear)
Unfortunately, I think the VERY LOW level will be what we will see this
weekend... Cycle 24 is not ramping up at the speed we had hoped to see even
a few months ago.
