Seems like that used to work for me years ago, but anymore, I'm usually 
about 20 QSO's into a new band before I remember I didn't change the 
frequency in the logger :-)  73

I still use good ole' CTWIN 10.

When I'm using my Corsair, which does not have an RS-232 port, I manually
select the band.  There's also a simple keystroke to type in the exact QRG,
if and when needed.
