I've recently bought a set of Yamaha CM500 headphones for contesting,
which are terrific. The one problem, paradoxically, is that the cord is
too long. I don't want to cut it if I can avoid it, because there are
times when the extra length could be pleasant. However, it occurs to me
there must be some sort of spring-loaded reel device used for cord
management or some other related purpose that could be put to use here.
The cord itself is very light and flexible, so it wouldn't require much
tension.
Any ideas?
