In all of the contests that I have operated 200 watts is the same category as 1000 watts. I wasn't talking about the legal power limit. For example if I say I'm running 200 watts that puts me in the low power category. Now if I claim 200 watts ( that puts me in the LP category) and I'm really running a KW that's cheating . That being said I'm sure there are some stations running more than the legal limit in their country.
