Ken has a far better station than I do, so our best comparison is
location -- he's about 100 miles from me. In virtually any ARRL or CQ
contest, between 35 and 40% of my QSOs are with JA. It doesn't matter
which mode or what power I run. K6XX, five miles up the road from me, a
better op with a better station, has the same percentages or even higher.
