I've been going for a long time. Early story I heard was that it's success was partly based upon the facts that there was surplus in abundance there and more important, that it is within a day's driving distance of a great portion of the US Hams. Suspect that that still holds. Now you can add the great support from the surrounding community. Hope it holds.
