In my recent post I said: "So when we double the frequency from 160m to 75/80m, the ionospheric absorption decreases by one fourth. It would decrease even more (by one sixteenth) on 40m." I should made it more clear by saying: "So when we double the frequency from 160m to 75/80m, the ionospheric absorption decreases to 1/4 of the 160m absorption. It would decrease even more (to one sixteenth of the 160m absorption) on 40m. Thanks to Pete N4ZR for catching that.
