John P44W tried to post to the scoreboard prior to the contest start but for
some reason the data was not showing up. It was not intentional. Many
assisted ops click on spots but never spot anyone. Both are allowed. I
assume that complaint is that he switched to assisted which bumped you into
second place for S.A. John operates assisted often and may have switched
regardless of the scoreboard.

should've done from the beginning. Waiting nearly a day likely cost me
another 30-50 multipliers."*

*I'm not accusing P44W of any wrongdoing, his experience highlights my

I shared my scores throughout the contest, despite knowing my limited
capabilities wouldn't compete with a Caribbean station. P44W likely knew
switching to SO/A would secure him the top spot in South America.
This also must be analyzed in the context of the WRTC calcification.
