About 1965, my Elmer W4WHK (now K4IG) Orange Park, FL (near Jacksonville)
was sued by the next door neighbor because the radio waves from Dave's 100
watt Morse sigs were disturbing the neighbor wife's brainwaves. A complete
radio transmitter setup in the court room was used and it clearly
demonstrated that the women did not have a superhet inside her head. Case
dismissed. But...the litigation dragged on for an inordinate amount of time
and it cost Dave plenty.
