145.250 is cable channel 18.


We have the same problems here, and it is up to the cable provider to
tighten his network. There is no problem with your rig, although your
neighbor probably will not believe that!

It is solely the responsibility of the cable provider to ensure that the
cable system does not leak enough RF to be a problem, and if your DCC Canada
does not have the pull to get their compliance, try your equivalent to our
FAA.

The cable systems use many VHF/UHF frequencies and as long as there is no
leakage, everything is OK, but Imagine the problems of an airplane traveling
over a leaky cable system?

Here in the US, that's how the leakage levels are determined, by aerial
survey. If the system is over the limit, our FAA can and will shut them down
until they can correct the problem.
