Hi folks -
A while back our local club (www.yars.org) was discussing getting some
RFI direction finding sets like the ones from MFJ, when we decided to
roll our own. We had a hand-held that received the AM aircraft band, so
I built a homebrew yagi we and were in business.
I finally got around to making a web site showing the work, which is at

The system did great on it's first use - a noisy pole was discovered,
and the local power company (PG&E) actually responded quickly and fixed
the issue!
