This goes to show you it is usually not OUR problem. My old DirecTV receiver needed tons of ferrite to get the RF out of it. Tech installed a new DVR receiver with dual coax, bare bones, no ferrite. Full power with amp and beam pointed at dish there is only a slight jiggle of the picture on 20 and a tiny bit of audio gets into the TV speakers on 10 meters. 160-30 with the vertical is completely clean on the DVR and were a nighmare to clean up on the old receiver. Rick, N6PE =============================================================== Remember, E = M * C^2 was not the entire equation. _______________________________________________ RFI mailing list [email protected] http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rfi |
